Private day tour from Chiang Mai into the hills for stunning rural landscapes

Meet your guide, car and driver at your Chiang Mai hotel and set off for Doi Inthanon National Park, which is especially known for its beautiful wild flowers, great birdwatching opportunities and majestic waterfalls at 2565 metres above sea level. Arrive at a Karen hilltribe village most of whose inhabitants work at a coffee plantation project – sample a cup of the locally grown arabica or robusta coffee. The first part of the trek starts with an easy walk from the village, through the jungle and over the fields. After about an hour, you reach the first waterfall. Cross the stream and climb up to the next waterfall, here you will also have enough time to swim, sunbathe and relax. After a break of a couple of hours, start trekking again along the stream. Walking through the forest and passing yet another beautiful waterfall, you will reach the finish of today’s trek, where your driver is waiting for you. On the way back to Chiang Mai, make a last stop at Watchirathan waterfall, one of the most spectacular in North Thailand
