| Half-day private sightseeing tour of the Meiji Shrine, Asakusa Kannon Temple and the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace |

| Pick up from your Tokyo hotel and begin your half-day city sightseeing tour of the highlights of Japan's capital. First, head to its most famous shrine, Meiji, dedicated to the deified spirits of the Emperor Meiji and his devoted wife, and located in an iris garden they were particularly fond of. Built of copper and Japanese cypress, the shrine stands in a small, peaceful forest right in the heart of the city, and since it is an active temple still, you may see wedding parties, the bride and female guests in gorgeous kimonos, or people simply going to pray for good luck in their exams. Next stroll through the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace and see the moat, gates and walls of the old castle where the shoguns once lived. The gardens are exquisitely manicured, symbolising the beauty of nature and the perfection of the universe. Continue to Asakusa Kannon Temple, another popular spot and Tokyo's oldest Buddhist shrine. See the pagoda and perhaps have your fortune told at one of the nearby stands! A busy lane called Nakamise lined with stalls selling souvenirs and traditional sweets leads to the Thunder Gate, and from here, you are returned to your hotel.
